New Walt Disney Studios Ink & Paint Department USPS Postage Stamps To Be Dedicated At D23 Expo
The U.S. Postal Service has just announced that a new line of Walt Disney Studios Ink & Paint Department Villains stamps will be released next month!
The new stamps will be dedicated at this year's D23 Expo on July 15 at 1:30 PM on the Center Stage of the Anaheim Convention Center. The dedication ceremony will be standing room only, and guests not attending the D23 Expo can sign up for a special ceremony ticket at usps.com/disney but per the USPS this ticket "this does not guarantee admission." Guests who sign up for the US Postal Service dedication service to attend the FDOI Ceremony will only be able to attend the ceremony, they will not be given access to the D23 Expo. The USPS also states that " D23 Expo 2017 ticket holders do not need to RSVP. "
The new "Forever" Disney Villains stamps will be available in a sheet of 20 and will feature 10 classic Disney villains against a blue background. The Villains featured will be the Queen (Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs), Honest John (Pinocchio), Lady Tremaine (Cinderella), the Queen of Hearts (Alice in Wonderland) and Captain Hook (Peter Pan),Maleficent (Sleeping Beauty), Cruella De Vil (One Hundred and One Dalmatians), Ursula (The Little Mermaid), Gaston (Beauty and the Beast) and Scar (The Lion King).
These new stamps will be available for pre-purchase online starting June 22 at usps.com/shop but will not be shipped until after July 15, 2017. D23 Expo guests and Disney Fans are encouraged to use the hashtags #DisneyVillainStamps and #DisneyStamp when posting about the new Walt Disney Studios Ink & Paint Department stamps.
