This year's D23 Expo will be the first year where all meet and greets will be free. What many people don't realize is that in the past there were two types of Expo autograph sessions. The free sessions that were listed in the show's schedule and run by D23, and the private vendor "for cash" options. For those who are unfamiliar with the second option, in the past vendors were allowed to set up special meet and greet options where they either sell tickets and time slots, or had a "minimum merchandise purchase requirement." These meet and greets were something that not only confused D23 Expo attendees as these autograph sessions were not listed in the Expo's schedule, many people missed a chance to purchase a ticket for the booth in question's event.
This year the folks who run D23 decided that the only autograph sessions that would be occurring at the Expo would in fact be free as there had been so many complaints and so much confusion at the 2015 Expo over Meet & Greet/Photo Ops. D23 even went so far as to include a clause about this in their vendor contract.
So, now that you know that Meet & Greet/Photo Ops will be free at this year's Expo let us share the newest Meet & Greet/Photo Ops announcements with you. The following ABC stars will be meeting Expo Guests at Talent Central, which will be located on the show floor. Please remember that this schedule is subject to change!! Information on how the lines for these Meet & Greets will work has not yet been announced.
Friday, July 14
4–5 PM Michelle Stafford and Chloe Lanier (General Hospital)
Saturday, July 15
1–2 PM Miles Brown and Marsai Martin (black-ish)
1:30–2:30 PM Hudson Yang, Forrest Wheeler, and Ian Chen (Fresh Off the Boat)
2:30–3:30 PM Daniel DiMaggio and Logan Pepper (American Housewife)
5:15–6:15 PM Co-creators/executive producers Edward Kitsis & Adam Horowitz and Colin O’Donoghue (Once Upon a Time)
