Have you seen the new "Fantasyland Football" social media event?

While I have to admit I  am not a basketball fan, I do look forward to March Madness. Not because of the games that are played, but because I am in love with the Disney Store and Disney Parks Blog March Madness merchandise event. So imagine my joy and surprise today when I learned that there is now a "Fantasyland Football" themed merchandise event!
For the next three weeks you can visit the special Fantasyland Football website and vote on your favorite Coach, Assistant Coach, Running Back, and Offensive Line. The Disneyland Dreamers and Walt Disney World Wonders are offering up twenty four players for you to choose from. You can pick between your favorite Disney ride and movie characters as they go head to head, and once you decide who you like the best you can then order a t-shirt and hoodie with that character on it. Each items has limited availability so they can only be ordered from Monday October 16, 2017 to Sunday November 12, 2017. Shipping will take 3-5 weeks.
The shirts are made of soft heathered jersey knit and feature the teams logo in screen art on the front and the players number on the back. Select shirts also have glitter, flocked, crystalline, metallic or other accents on them. The hoodies have a lined hood with drawstring and pouch pocket and feature the screen art logo on the front. Select hoodies also have Crystalline or metallic accents on them. Each team also has it's own hoodie with the teams logo on the front, and adult t-shirt and men and women's "jersey" style shirts with with the teams logo on the front and the year the parked opened as a jersey number on the back of the shirt. Last but not least is the 2017 Fantasyland Football shirt that features all twenty-four players on the back. To make it even more difficult to decide what team items you want to buy the Disney Store is currently running a "Buy One, Get One 40% Off Promotion" on all of the 2017 Fantasyland Football items.
