Expo Ticket Types Explained

In there past there have been 2 types of tickets sold, Sorcerer Level and General. Today I want to break down each ticket type to make understanding the ticket system easier and explain the perks of each ticket type and how being a paying D23 member effects each ticket level.

General Admission Tickets
General Admission Tickets are sold as Friday, Saturday, Sunday single day tickets, or a 3-day all weekend pass. Anyone can buy these tickets, you do not need to be a paying or free D23 Member to buy. D23 Gold members have been allowed early entry into the Expo with their membership card and Expo tickets noted as being "Gold" status, and receive a discount on tickets.
From 2015 Expo information "D23 Gold and Silver Members are entitled to early admission to the Expo show floor and D23 will once again give a special thanks to D23 Charter Members, providing them special access to the Expo’s Charter Member Lounge."

Below is 2015 Pricing:

Sorcerer Tickets

Sorcerer Level (SL) is a high a high priced ticket that is sold to a limited number of people. Members must be D23 members to buy this level of ticket, it is sold online, and you can only buy 2 SL tickets. Ticket pricing is announced at time of release, but the number of tickets D23 intends to sell is not made public. For those that want to purchase tickets but aren't quick on the phone call in draw, D23 does open a wait list.
There is no guarantee SL will get first chance at all items being sold at the Expo. In 2015 SL was $2000 per person, with under 400 SL tickets sold. In 2013 it was $1500 per person. Based on that price increase many are predicting 2017 SL tickets to start at $2500 per person.
